Cacophony is a platformer in which you play as a person who feels very strongly connected to the music they listen to. They are so connected to the music that every element of the music has a different effect on their perception of the world around them.
Cacophony is my first attempt at making a game on my own and in my own time, so I’ve learned quite a lot in the process.
For one, I had to learn time and project management, as I started creating the game in January, and had to create it while I was also doing my College work. This left me with roughly ten weeks I could spend on the game, including the art, level design, and sound.
