YGD competition 2016 is now open!

Are you a budding game designer? Creative coder?  Well show us what you can do, because YGD 2016 is now open for entries!

For the Game Concept Award, we’re looking for the best original and inventive designs. Get creative and let your imagination run wild! Need some inspiration? Check out last year’s finalists here.

The Game Making Award are those who are already exploring creating their own games, and the winner will see their prototype turned into an actual working game.

If you’re chosen as a competition finalist, you’ll get to attend an exclusive and exciting awards ceremony at BAFTA HQ in London, where the winners will be revealed.

Both the Game Concept Award and Game Making Award have two age categories: 10-14 yr. olds and 15-18 yr. olds. You can enter as an individual or in teams of up to three people. 

We’ve also got another special award: do you know someone who really inspired you to get into game-making? The nominate them for the YGD Mentor Award.
